Taller Puertorriqueño is pleased to partner with The Women’s Film Festival to present a screening of Puerto Rican director Marisol Gomez’s feature film, Angélica.
Angélica is a psychological drama that exposes the implications of racism and sexism upon the family and individual. For all of her life, Angélica has been called ugly because she doesn’t possess her mother’s fair skin. Can she rise to the surface and find her own self worth?
