Neighbors: The Puerto Rican Philly Experience

March 2 @ 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Free

This summer the Historical Society of Pennsylvania and Taller Puertorriqueño will launch an online exhibition/website about the Puerto Rican experience in the development of their neighborhoods.   We would like your help.  During this program, you will learn about the history behind them and their similarities and differences to other neighborhoods in Philly.  As you view the artwork and look at archival material, you can provide feedback and suggestions – and even have your remarks videotaped for inclusion in it.  Open to all, whether you identify as Puerto Rican or connect to the migration experience. Come help us make history! /La Sociedad Histórica de Pensilvania, junto con el Taller lanzarán una nueva página electronica sobre la experiencia de los puertorriqueños y el desarrollo de sus comunidades en Filadelfia.  Queremos su opinion y recomendaciones.  Ayúdenos a contar nuestra historia.

Refreshments will be provided!
