This night is about bringing the film to life. Not just seeing it\, but hearing it\, feeling it\, moving with it. This historic coalition serves as a touchstone for the symposium’s commitment to visibility\, dignity\, and self-determination. This performance will serve as the special capstone of the Guagua47 artist residency. La Guagua 47 is a bilingual musical telling the story of a young girl from Puerto Rico who arrives in Philly feeling invisible\, only to find belonging through the community she meets on the 47 bus. It’s a story of migration and connection told through salsa\, bachata\, reggaeton\, and bolero.
