Visítenos (Visit us) is a community art program reaching nearly 1,500 students that offers art classes to schools without existing art-programs. Through an equipped team of teaching artists, classes are offered in visual arts, theater, performance, dance, and more, that foster teamwork, improved self-esteem and patience, as well as pride in the students’ cultural heritage.
Visit our Archives
The Eugenio María de Hostos Archives is a resource and research center that includes books, periodicals, articles, recordings, and research, focusing on Puerto Rican, Latino, and Latinx history in Philadelphia and across the country. Some of these materials are out of print, making this a unique information resource. These archives are an asset to scholars of all levels, as well as to the city.
Tours & Workshops
Taller offers guided neighborhood tours, gallery tours, hands-on art workshops, and themed lectures to school, university, and community groups on-site at our El Corazón Cultural Center. These programs emphasize the vibrant and living traditions of Latinx and Puerto Rican art and Taller’s history and the role it plays in its community. Tours are offered in both English and Spanish.
