The Exhibitions Program focuses on the constant evaluation of art, in particular, the artistic and cultural representation of Puerto Rico and Latin America as it supports the work of Puerto Rican and Latinx artists. The program aims to present quality exhibitions that are educational and engage the local community and the general public.
About the Lorenzo Homar Gallery
For over four decades the gallery has been the region’s only space/s dedicated to Puerto Rican and Latino Art, highlighting contemporary artists from Philadelphia, the nation, and Puerto Rico.

Each exhibition and the selection of the artist is made in consultation with an arts advisory committee, a diverse group of artists, curators, and community members.
The gallery is open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, 1 – 4 PM; Wednesday 1 – 6 PM.
