Taller Puertorriqueño Announces
New Executive Director
Erikka Goslin, MSS, LSW
Taller Puertorriqueño, Pennsylvania’s largest Latino arts and culture organization, is pleased to announce the appointment of Erikka Goslin, MSS, LSW, as its new Executive Director. With over 15 years of experience in nonprofit, social work, and community engagement, Goslin brings a deep commitment to cultural preservation, education, and advocacy to this role.
Goslin, who has served as Interim Executive Director at Taller Puertorriqueño since early 2024, has been instrumental in advancing the organization’s mission and expanding its impact in the community. She will lead Taller into its next chapter, ensuring its continued growth as a hub for Latino arts and education.
Goslin brings extensive experience in areas such as nonprofit leadership, social work and administration. Prior to joining Taller Puertorriqueño, she owned and operated her own therapeutic private practice, where she provided anti-racist, culturally aware and gender inclusive psychotherapy and managed all administrative and financial aspects of the organization. She also held positions at Walnut Psychotherapy Center, Swarthmore College, Congreso de Latinos Unidos and the Delaware County Children’s Advocacy Center.
Her dedication to social justice, youth development, cultural preservation and social impact has shaped her career, making her well-positioned to lead Taller Puertorriqueño through its next phase of growth. Since serving as interim director at Taller, Goslin has increased enrollment rates for the Cultural Exploration Program, continued to drive growth in revenue through rentals, the bookstore and the partnership with Universidad Interamericana de Puerto Rico and successfully launched the Tramando workshop series dedicated to empowering our Puerto Rican and Latino community through immersive workshops in traditional textile arts.
“I am honored to step into the role of Executive Director at Taller Puertorriqueño,” said Erikka Goslin. “For 50 years, Taller has been a beacon for Puerto Rican and Latino culture in Philadelphia. As we look to the next 50 years, it is more important than ever to uplift our community through the arts, ensuring that our voices, stories, and traditions continue to thrive.”
Goslin’s appointment comes on the heels of Taller Puertorriqueño’s 50th Anniversary, a milestone that celebrated the organization’s half-century of service and cultural leadership. With arts and culture organizations still recovering from the impact of COVID-19, her leadership will be pivotal in securing Taller’s future as a cornerstone for Latino arts, education, and community empowerment.
“Taller Puertorriqueño’s Board of Directors is excited about Erikka Goslin’s appointment as our new Executive Director,” said Sulma Dalessio, current chair of the Board of Directors at Taller Puertorriqueño. “In her four years at Taller, Erikka has demonstrated strong leadership and the ability to build meaningful partnerships. We are confident that her passion and commitment to Taller’s vision and mission will continue to strengthen our organization as we champion arts and cultural programs that celebrate and preserve our Puerto Rican and Latino heritage.”
