DORIS NOGUEIRA-ROGERS:
FORM & CONTENT

FORM & CONTENT, a new show by the artist Doris Nogueira-Rogers—her first solo exhibition in Taller’s new building.  Her work has often been political, addressing social inequity, nature, and environmental justice while remaining colorful, bright, evocative, and almost optimistic in their presentation. In her new show, FORM & CONTENT, Nogueira-Rogers created installations and two-dimensional work for audiences to journey through and experience. This new show highlights rarely-seen works whose themes resonate profoundly with our time.

Tramando

Taller Puertorriqueño’s Textile Design Workshop

Tramando is a workshop series dedicated to empowering individuals and diaspora communities through collective art-making and cultural preservation. Our aim is to foster agency and sustainable economic practices while celebrating the rich tapestry of Puerto Rican and Latino culture.

We provide 12-week workshops, each centered on natural dyeing, weaving, or traditional mundillo lace-making. Each workshop features a dedicated curriculum tailored to the specific craft, led by experienced artists. Open to all skill levels, these workshops delve into both technique and the cultural importance of textile design.
