Tramando—a Pew-funded project launched in 2023—revitalizes Kensington’s textile heritage while connecting ancestral textile practices to contemporary community empowerment. Curator Richie López, a queer Puerto Rican textile artist and writer, brings together participants who have transformed their creative paths into sustainable practices.
