Covid-19: A Color Canvas of Inequality

Virtual Event

February 27, 2021 @ 9:00 am 4:30 pm

The COVID-19 pandemic has caused the deaths of over 350,000 people in the US since December 2020, testing our health and economic system that supports our localities. Highlighting the stark inequities in health provided to the Black and Brown communities.

This year’s symposium addresses the impact of COVID-19 on African descent communities that are the most affected. In Philadelphia, 34% of cases, the highest number, are Black.

Join us on February 27 for Covid-19: A Color Canvas of Inequality, a virtual symposium that examines the systemic conditions that place African descent communities most at risk. A seminar that brings scholars and historians to discuss problems and present solutions with your input.
