Already in his third visit to Taller, Edgardo Miranda-Rodriguez is a graphic novelist most notably recognized as the writer and creator of the critically acclaimed and bestselling superhero series La Borinqueña. La Borinqueña is an original, modern-day superhero who exemplifies the patriotic symbolism, history, and mysticism found on the island of Puerto Rico. As part of his national tour, Edgardo continues to speak on such topics as diversity in comic books and current socio-political issues related to Puerto Rico.
